Löysin ison hylätyn kuormalavan. Siinä oli tuet ja kolme leveää lautaa. Ne olivat jo vähän tummuneet, joten hiottiin ne vaaleiksi. (Kuka tekee noin leveästä laudasta kuormalavan?)

I found a dumped pallet of three broad boards. They were dark, so we had to sand them.

Kaksi leveintä lautaa rinnakkain ja keskimmäisestä tuli jalustan pystyosat. Lisäksi alapuolella olleet tukipuut muokkasin jalustan osiksi.

Two broadest ones made the tablöe top, the middle one taw turned to the feet of the table.

Terassille rakennettiin seinät ja katto, ja pöydän piti vaihtaa paikkaa. Mutta sehän ei itsenäisesti pysynyt pystyssä. Nurkista kaivoin kaksi vanhan toimistopöydän osaa ja kulmarautoja, jotka katkaisin sopivaan mittaan ja ruuvasin pöydän alle. Nyt pöytä on myös pysyvä, sillä se on pysyvästi katon alla..

We built walls and roof to the porch, and the table needed to change place. But it did not stand on it's own. I found two support structures of an old office table and angle brackets and installed them under the table. Now the table is also rigid and winter protected under the roof.
